Case study: a house in the Odesa region, two floors — two profiles
The client was building a house and choosing windows and doors at a stage when the facade was almost finished. A technologist visited the site for measurements — it is at this stage that the profile and configuration suitable for specific openings are decided, rather than settling for an average “catalog” solution.
One of the client’s key requirements was that the window color match the tone of the metal roof tiles, and the facade look stylish and cohesive, rather than a “mishmash” of different shades. They considered two laminations with a wood texture — golden oak and dark oak. Golden oak is lighter and provides a more contrasting, “warm” accent on light facades, but it suited the specific roof shade of this house less. They settled on dark oak: it almost perfectly matched the color of the metal tiles, and thanks to the expressive wood texture of the lamination, the windows don’t look “plastic” — from a distance, the profile is easily perceived as natural wood, adding warmth and solidity to the facade.

Important: Both profiles are 6-chamber systems based on a CaZn stabilizer. The difference is not in the number of chambers, but in the profile geometry, seating depth, and thermal conductivity coefficient. 48 mm glass unit: what lies behind the number
